Objective: The Fund's investment objective is to seek as high a level of current income as is consistent with liquidity and stability of principal.

Strategy: The Fund shall invest in short-term debt securities with maturities of not more than 397 days. Substantially all of the assets of the Fund shall be invested in obligations issued or guaranteed by the U.S. Government, its agencies and instrumentalities, repurchase agreements secured by such obligations, and cash instruments. The Fund may also invest in corporate debt obligations; asset backed securities; instruments issued by banks, including time deposits and certificates of deposit; master notes; promissory notes; shares of registered investment companies; and insurance company funding agreements. The Fund may invest in variable and floating rate instruments and when-issued and delayed delivery securities. The Fund's dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity will be 60 days or less and the weighted average life of the Fund's portfolio will be no longer than 120 days.
